Movie Makers founded in 1955, encourages the
production of individual and group movies. The
club library now contains about 140 group films
and videos. Past successes include a club Ten
Best winner and an individual Ten Best winner,
among a number of National and International
awards.
Once you are involved you can learn as much - or as little - as you like. There is nothing like participating in a good group to help you explore your talents.
Eric Parkinson from the club got national television coverage when a cousin sent him some old film found in the cellar of a house in London. It proved to be of the Queen aged eight and was screened during BBC television's The People's Queen programme.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month from September to May at the Civic Centre in Bebington. For our full programme for the 2009-2010 season click here
